Our Week in Phoenix, Minneapolis, and Nashville

What a week for Musically Fed! 🎶🤍

This week, we’re featuring our fabulous volunteer John Gillen  and highlighting just a few of the incredible food rescues happening across the country!

🎤 Phoenix: We rescued unused catering from The Black Crowes show, with the food benefiting Native American Connections, whose mission is to reduce health disparities and provide healthcare and stable housing throughout Native communities. ❤️

A huge thank you to Live Nation Concerts and Mortgage Matchup Center for helping make this food rescue possible! 🙌

🎸 Minneapolis: A sizable distribution from BITE Catering at the Ed Sheeran show was delivered to Bread of Life Food Pantry, helping provide food to those in need throughout the Minneapolis community. ❤️

🎶 Nashville: Musically Fed rescued unused catering during the teardown at Nissan Stadium of a My Chemical Romance and a Foo Fighters show they had over the weekend, with the food distributed to organizations making a difference throughout the Nashville community:

❤️ Operation Stand Down Tennessee  — supporting veterans and their families.

🏠 Matthew 25, Inc. — helping men experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives.

🤝 Room In The Inn — supporting Nashvillians experiencing homelessness.

💙 Nashville Rescue Mission — serving people who are hungry, hurting, and experiencing homelessness.

Different cities. Different shows. One mission: rescue the food and feed the community. 🌎💚
