Because Musically Fed is a nonprofit it takes the support of people in the community to help us reach those in need. We offer several ways you can help:
Music feeds the soul, but our volunteers feed the hungry! We make the entertainment industry more sustainable by reducing food waste and donating surplus catering to local nonprofits that serve veterans, kids, and the food insecure. We work hand-in-hand with the top touring acts, venues, producers, and caterers in the business and partner with nonprofits who make a real difference in communities all across the country. Come join the fun and together we’ll feed people in need.
What Do Musically Fed Volunteers Do?
Volunteering with Musically Fed is fun and rewarding! Not only are you helping people in need and joining in the fight against hunger, but you are also reducing food waste and helping make events more sustainable – all while meeting new people at fun places during incredible events!
Our volunteers perform the following activities:

Nighttime pickup and deliveries from live entertainment venues

Evening pickup and deliveries from partners such as Wildflower Bread in Phoenix

Daytime pickup and deliveries from partners such as Patchwork in Nashville

Repurposing at special events like Lollapalooza and Bourbon & Beyond, and awards shows like the GRAMMYs or CMAs

Community outreach at special events (“working the booth”, spreading awareness, food drive collection)
Did you know that many companies offer a Matching Gifts program? Please consider checking with your HR department to find out if your workplace provides a match for your volunteer time and / or charitable contributions. This could be a great way to double your impact for Musically Fed!

Meet some of our Rockin' Volunteers
All across the country, Musically Fed volunteers are helping behind the scenes to make sure people receive nutritious meals and are treated with dignity. They come from all backgrounds imaginable, but share a common concern for the wellbeing of others. They're also a lot of fun! Come join them!
