A Music-Filled Weekend of Giving from Nashville to California

Our volunteers and colleagues had a busy weekend of concerts across the nation!  Widespread Panic played three nights of shows at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, benefiting Room In The Inn and Matthew 25, Inc. Thanks to our superstar volunteers Angela Zimmer, Kevin Owen and Laura Culberston!

In Florida, Breakaway Music Festival Tampa kicked off the weekend with performances on Friday and Saturday. At Stagecoach Festival in California, audiences were two-stepping while Well in the Desert was stepping out to facilities in need of tasty food for their Palm Desert communities.

Meanwhile, Phish played 3 consecutive nights of shows at the Hollywood Bowl in California. Musically Fed volunteers Adam Briggs, Claire Kurima, and Serena Fechtmeyer rescued surplus catering from these shows, which was received by Hawkes Transitional Residence, Salvation Army Canoga Park ARC, and Van Ness Recovery House to support their communities.

To top it all off, our dedicated volunteers Tiffany and Frank Tscherne were Thunderstruck by the donation from AC/DC at Allegiant Stadium and delivered it to Las Vegas Rescue Mission.
