At Ak-Chin’s Beck and Cage The Elephant show on July 21, Musically Fed had the opportunity to see first hand all that Ak-Chin's sustainability program is doing as a part of Live Nation’s green initiative! (More on that here- https://www.thewookofwallstreet.com/…/live-nation-announce…/)
We got to take a look behind the scenes where volunteers and employees sorted trash for recyclable and compostable materials and encouraged concert-goers to make good choices with their recyclable and compostable products. Guests are encouraged to bring their own water bottles, and all plastics sold in the venue are recyclable!
Musically Fed was able to check out Ak-Chin's composting system as well. The food that we were able to take went to our friends at the MANA House, ensuring that the carbon footprint that went into having the food at the venue could keep giving!
