MUSICALLY FED HAS RECORD-SETTING 16-DAY RUN
RESCUING MEALS FROM THE WEEKND CONCERT
Phoenix-Based Non-Profit On-Site From 4/24 to 5/10 Repurposing
Food Surplus for Local Organizations to Feed Valley Hungry
(Phoenix, AZ – 5/12/2025) – The Weeknd’s opening date for his After Hours Til Dawn 2025 Stadium Tour at State Farm Stadium May 9th was a record-breaking event for Musically Fed. Beginning Thursday April 24th through Saturday, May 10th, the Phoenix-based non-profit was on-site from pre-production through final load-out to repurpose unused backstage catering from the tour. The organization made nightly deliveries of food and food goods to key organizations including 7th St. Pantry, Salvation Army, Faith House, East Valley Men's Shelter, and St Vincent de Paul.
“Thanks to The Weeknd, Live Nation, State Farm Stadium, and Tour Cats Catering, we’ve been able to deliver a bounty of nourishing meals for more than two weeks to vital agencies throughout the Sun Valley,” says Musically Fed founder Maria Brunner. “We are grateful for the shared community win-win these partnerships have enabled. The Weeknd’s music feeds the soul. Musically Fed feeds the hungry.”
Since its founding in 2016, the mission of Musically Fed has been to mobilize the music industry in the fight against hunger by working with artists, promoters, management and venues nationwide to donate unused backstage meals to community organizations that feed people facing homelessness, hunger and food insecurity.
Musically Fed identifies the opportunities, procures the resources, and coordinates all aspects of food handling, transport, and distribution. Their daily goal is to make it easy for performers to leave each city they visit with a lasting positive impact.
