MUSIC FEEDS THE SOUL, WE FEED THE HUNGRY: MUSICALLY FED RETURNS TO CMA FEST 2024

Phoenix-Based Non-Profit Combats Food Waste by Rescuing & Repurposing Unused Festival Catering For Local Organizations To Fight Food Insecurity

(Phoenix, AZ – 5/29/2024) - Musically Fed, in collaboration with the Country Music Association (CMA), proudly announces its participation in CMA Fest, taking place from June 6th to 9th. Building on the success of previous years, Musically Fed continues its mission to combat hunger by rescuing unused backstage meals and providing them to those in need.

Musically Fed is celebrated for mobilizing the music industry in the fight against hunger by working with artists, promoters, management, and venues to donate unused event catering to community organizations that feed veterans and people facing homelessness and food insecurity nationwide.

At this year's CMA Fest, Musically Fed will once again be present during load-in days, delivering nutritious meals to Room in the Inn, Matthew 25, Safe Haven, Operation Stand Down, and other community organizations. Additionally, Musically Fed will rescue post-event catering, including produce, fruit, dried goods, prepared meals, and other unused food supplies from the three-day festival. These goods will be distributed to various agencies throughout the community.

“CMA Fest is one of the world's largest Country Music Festivals, and we are proud to participate again, thanks to their commitment to sustainability and supporting various Nashville non-profits”, says Musically Fed founder, Maria Brunner. “Their efforts empower Musically Fed to rescue and deliver safely prepared meals to those in need throughout the community. This opportunity is made possible by the fans, CMA, and Country Music artists who come together from around the globe. Thank you!”

About CMA Fest

The Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience™ began in 1972 as Fan Fair®, which drew 5,000 fans to Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium. The legendary festival has become the city’s signature Country Music event that hosts tens of thousands of fans from all 50 states and 39 international countries. CMA Fest is a one-of-a-kind festival with hundreds of artists donating their time to perform so proceeds can directly benefit high-quality music programs across the country through the CMA Foundation. This is the 21st consecutive year CMA has produced a summer music program to be broadcast as a network television special on ABC.
